My work: Character artist, Level Integrator/Event Scripter, Narrative Designer, Level Designer.
Made by 7 artists from NAD as our final project. It was a production of 12 weeks (about 50 x 8 hour days), using Unreal Engine 4. Team was:
Marja Lachapelle (Animator), Jonathan Viens, Émile Viens, Guillaume Croteau (Environment), Elise Hamzaoglu (Creature), Marc Tardif (Technical artist) and myself (Character artist, Event Scripter, Narrative Designer).
For this project I made the main character and was in charge of the narrative design and event scripting.
My work includes writing, directing and scripting the events happening in the game, including all triggers, sounds, dialogues and cutscenes, using only Unreal Engine 4's blueprint and matinees.
I was also responsible for making everything playable in Unreal Engine 4, using only the power of Blueprint.
I scripted the controls with the key mapping, the animtrees and blending between different gameplay animations and set up and camera behind the player controller.

I also directed and scripted every events (except weather changes and day/nigtht cycle) encountered by the player in the game. Using triggers placed in the level and blueprint I controlled everything from dialogues to sounds, cutscenes, etc. Using matinees I created the three cutscenes seen in the above video, placing the cameras, the actors, doing the editing, etc.
